M.Y World Families Dive Into the Wonderful World of Robotics Together!
On Saturday, 4 July, our hearts were absolutely bursting with joy as we hosted our very first Parent-Child SPOT Robot Coding Workshop! This unforgettable day was brought to life through a fantastic, hands-on collaboration between M.Y World @ Yishun Fern Grove and the incredible team at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS).
Our mission? To bring families closer together through the magic of tech! Parents and their little ones teamed up to explore the basics of coding and robotics in the most fun, interactive way possible. With plenty of giggles and teamwork, our dynamic duos discovered exactly how simple coding commands could bring a miniature, SPOT-inspired robot to life right before their eyes! 🚀
Real-World Tech, Big Bright Smiles
To add a dash of extra wonder to the day, the children got an exclusive look at the real SPOT robot created by Boston Dynamics! They learned how this amazing, four-legged robotic superstar autonomously patrols the HMGICS smart factory floor – taking photos, running AI-powered quality checks, and helping build futuristic cars with ultimate precision. Seeing their own classroom projects connect directly to real-world super-tech was a total “lightbulb moment” for our little innovators! 💡✨
The Best Part of the Day? It wasn’t just the cool gadgets – it was the beautiful moments shared between families. Watching parents and children huddle together, solve problems, and high-five over every little victory was a heartwarming reminder of how joyful learning can be when shared. These special moments do so much more than teach coding; they nurture curiosity, strengthen family bonds, and give children the confidence to tackle any challenge!
