We are delighted to share that M.Y World recently participated in the PECERA 2026 Conference at SUSS! Jointly organised with the Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore) (AECES), the event was a wonderful gathering of minds dedicated to the future of early childhood education.
Shining a Spotlight on Character and Innovation
Our team had the incredible opportunity to share some of our latest milestones, highlighting how we weave both heart and innovation into everything we do:
Our Lead Specialist (Curriculum and Quality Assurance), Ms Anna Chao, presented an insightful paper on Character Education in Singapore Preschools, sharing insights into fostering values and character development in young children.
Our team – Anna Chao, Chen Weijun, Adrian Lim, and Jenine Koh – also presented a poster on how we have adopted an AI-powered reading robot to support and enhance children’s reading interest and literacy development.
We were also delighted to welcome PECERA delegates to M.Y World @ Tengah Garden Court for a learning journey, where they experienced our learning environment and witnessed our teaching and learning practices firsthand.
AI as a Friendly Companion in Learning
In today’s rapidly changing world, we often get asked about the role of technology in preschools. At M.Y World, we firmly believe that AI shouldn’t replace traditional learning. Instead, it should act as a friendly catalyst to deepen engagement and joy.
Our pilot study across six M.Y World preschools showed that our AI-powered reading robot genuinely sparks a love for reading – especially in Mother Tongue languages – while bringing children together for beautiful, shared language experiences.
We believe that strong foundational literacy is what empowers to question, think critically, and explore the world with confidence. M.Y World is ready to harness the best of innovation to help our children navigate this increasingly complex world.
A huge thank you to our presenters and educators for their passion, dedication, and commitment to advancing the early childhood profession through research and practice. Let’s keep learning, innovating, and nurturing curious young minds together! 💚🌱✨
