Admissions & Registrations

Wait time varies for each centre. We will notify you as soon as a vacancy becomes available for your child. Alternatively, you may wish to contact the centre directly for the latest information.

You will need to confirm your acceptance of admission before the given deadline. Otherwise, the vacancy will be offered to the next child on the waitlist. Your child will remain on the waitlists for the centre(s) of your choice.

We will require you to complete the registration process at the centre. Please bring along the original copies of the following items:

For Singaporeans
  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • NRICs of both parents
  • Your child’s Immunisation Records/ Health Booklet
  • Recently-taken physical photograph of your child
  • Child Development Account (CDA) Bank statement
  • Birth certificate of sibling (For use of sibling’s CDA Account)
  • A copy of NRIC (front and back) and recent passport photo (original) of the person(s) you authorised to pick up your child. We will also require you to furnish the particulars of the authorised person(s), including the relationship to your child.
For PRs/ Foreigners
  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • Your child’s entry/ re-entry permit
  • Your child’s dependant pass
  • Work permit(s) of working parent(s) and dependant pass of non-working parent, if applicable
  • Recently-taken physical photograph of your child
  • A copy of NRIC (front and back) and recent passport photo (original) of the person(s) you authorised to pick up your child. We will also require you to furnish the particulars of the authorised person(s), including the relationship to your child.

We may require you to provide other relevant documents where necessary.

Certainly, we accept transfers of children from other preschools, as well as within M.Y World centres.

For transfers from other preschools, please register with us online. You may also contact your preferred centre directly.

For internal transfers between M.Y World centres, vacancies are offered on a first come, first served basis upon registration. Do note that a non-refundable transfer fee of $30 applies (before GST). You are also required to inform the Principal in writing at the beginning of the month and provide at least one (1) calendar month’s notice, to avoid forfeiture of the deposit.

The same notice period applies to temporary withdrawals and changes in programme (e.g., from full-day to half day or vice versa).

Example:
If you intend to withdraw your child on the last day of April, a written notice must be submitted by 1 April, or on the first working day of the month if 1 April falls on a Sunday or public holiday.

Fees & Financial Assistance

You will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of $80 (before GST) and refundable deposit (exempted from GST) equivalent to one month’s fee upon acceptance of application. Please retain the official receipt for refund purposes.

Do note that the deposit cannot be used to offset the last month’s programme fee.

Singapore Citizens are eligible for government subsidies, based on employment status, household income and the programme enrolled at the preschool.

Singapore Citizen children enrolled at M.Y World with household income of $6,000 or less may tap on our financial assistance programme, M.Y Friends in Deed (M.YFID), to help with preschool expenses, subject to approval. For more information, please contact our centres.

Payment can be made via PayNow, GIRO or bank transfer. We do not accept payment by NETS, credit card or cheques.

You may obtain a GIRO form from the centre to arrange for direct monthly deductions from your child’s/ his or her sibling’s Child Development Account. Do note that GIRO payment may not be available for the first month, due to the bank’s processing time. In this case, you may be required to pay via other modes.

We provide a standardised fee structure for every child enrolled at M.Y World.

You are required to purchase uniforms if your child is enrolled in childcare programme. For uniform purchase, please visit Acensio Online Store at www.asencio.com.sg.

New Starters

We do not provide transportation. We recommend choosing a centre near your home or workplace to minimise travelling time, subject to the centre’s vacancy.

Children enrolled in our childcare programme are required to wear uniforms. For the safety of your child, no jewellery is allowed at the centre.

Uniforms can be purchased at the Asencio Online Store: www.asencio.com.sg.

We recommend 4 sets of uniforms per child. You may choose to purchase more according to your child’s needs.

Your child is required to bring his/ her personal items* daily:

  1. Water bottle or feeding bottles (for infants)
  2. Plastic bags (for wet/ soiled clothes)
  3. Small bath towel
  4. Comb
  5. Diaper (where applicable)
  6. Toothbrush and mug**
  7. A set of uniform**

*Please label all your child’s belongings.
**Not applicable to children enrolled in Infant Care.

Your child’s teacher(s) may occasionally assign home-based activities that require your support to complete.

Helping your child settle in involves creating consistent routines, fostering familiarity with the new preschool and managing separation anxiety.

For example:

  • Establish a routine of early bedtime and wake-up time several weeks before preschool begins so that your child has time to adjust to the new schedule.
  • Learn about toileting procedures at the new centre and practise with your child at home.
  • Attend a read aloud session at the library so that your child gets to hear stories in a group setting.
  • Let your child choose a new backpack and write his/ her name on it.
  • If your child has never been cared for by somebody else, start leaving your child with relatives for short periods of time. Reinforce to your child that you will return and that he/ she is safe.
  • Schedule a visit to the preschool with your child.
  • Read books about going to school with your child.

Yes. Parents may be invited to participate in centre events, excursions or learning journeys. Parents may also be invited to conduct workshops and sessions at the centre.

We serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea break.

All meals prepared at our centres adhere to the Healthy Meals in Preschools Programme (HMPP) guidelines set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB). We encourage your child to eat meals prepared by the centre.

While we are not halal certified, all food is sourced from halal friendly suppliers and contains no pork, lard, or beef. Vegetarian options are not available.

At M.Y World, we deliver a holistic, inquiry-based, learner-centred curriculum designed to cultivate lifelong learning in a safe and supportive space. We provide programmes for mother tongue languages, as well as Development Support Learning Support (DS-LS) programme for children who require low levels of early intervention support. Our learning environment is also purposefully designed as the “third teacher” for playful learning.

All preschool educators at M.Y World are certified by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), with a Diploma and/ or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education.

M.Y World is also committed to supporting the professional development of our educators, aligned to the national skills framework for early childhood professionals.

Yes, M.Y World offers excursions and enrichment programmes on an opt-in basis, to enhance children’s learning experiences.

Enrichment programmes vary across centres. Parents will be informed by their respective centre for registration.

Yes, all enrichment programmes and excursions are optional.

For activities conducted at the centres during regular curriculum hours, your child’s participation is strongly encouraged as these experiences are important in fostering social interaction, collaboration, and a sense of belonging within the classroom environment.

Yes, M.Y World may partner or collaborate with other organisations to leverage on their specific expertise to enhance learning for our children.

M.Y World is open on all weekdays of the year except:
  • Gazetted Public Holidays;
  • Teachers’ Day;
  • Children’s Day; and
  • ECDA Mandated Development Days

M.Y World adheres to strict safety health and security standards, as part of centre licensing requirements.

All M.Y World centres conduct mandatory fire drill exercises as required by ECDA, and all educators are certified and approved by ECDA.

Personal accident insurance for your child is mandatory and provided free of charge at M.Y World for every enrolled child.

We operate from Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, except on gazetted Public Holidays, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, and ECDA Mandated Development Days.
